“Therfore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Luke 7 (47)
‘According to the word that I covenanted with you when you come out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’ “For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations,…
“For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the…
“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principals of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this we will do…
Kevin James, a servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, to all brothers and sisters of Him who share in His love and memory. Glory be to our Father who is I AM; the Most High. Glory be to our Lord, His Son, King of kings, who is seated at His right hand. Behold, the glory…
In coming to His truth, we receive the full loving and refining chastisement of our Father. In acceptance of His love and truth are all the pangs of labor in the rebirthing of our spirit. The shame breaks us and brings us to our knees and longing of death. So, we give and do not…
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.”
Jesus Christ, John 16:33
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
Love – agape – is patient and kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth.
Having joy includes feeling good cheer and a vibrant happiness. But joy, in its fuller, spiritual meaning of expressing God’s goodness, involves more. It is a deep-rooted, inspired happiness. The Holy Bible says, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
The Hebrew word for peace, šālôm, translated most often by the Greek word, eirēnē, has a wide range including the notions of totality or completeness, success, fulfillment, wholeness, harmony, security and well-being.
Patiently enduring lasting offense or hardship. Putting up with (enduring) others who wrongfully act against you — is the Christ-like character a believer is to develop and grow.
Gentleness is the quality of being kind and careful. Your gentleness with a frightened stray dog will eventually convince her to let you feed and pet her. The noun gentleness is perfect for describing the way someone acts when they are soft and calm and sweet to other people.
Goodness is action; it’s not something we do only for the sake of being virtuous. In Greek, the word goodness, “agathosune,” means “an uprightness of heart and life”. When we act out of true goodness of the heart, we are obedient to God’s commandments and seek the benefit of others.
Faith is the basic ingredient to begin a relationship with God. Faith is the assurance that the things revealed and promised in the Word are true, even though unseen, and gives the believer a conviction that what he expects in faith, will come to pass.
The meek shall inherit the Earth. The saying implies that those who forgo worldly power will be rewarded in the kingdom of heaven. Meekness is an attribute of human nature and behavior. It has been defined several ways: righteous, humble, teachable, and patient under suffering, long suffering willing to follow gospel teachings; an attribute of a true disciple.
Temperance can be viewed as emotional restraint or self-control. Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but one who has a hasty temper exalts. Temperance is moderation in thought, word, or action. Those who practice temperance are self-controlled and show restraint in their passions and behaviors.
